Known to Glasgow audiences for his time at the Tron Theatre, Michael Boyd will be concluding his richly garlanded 10 years as artistic director at the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2012. With an action-packed year ahead, including the World Shakespeare Festival and the international trilogy A World Elsewhere, he takes rare time out to reflect on the long-term future of theatre.
