Equitable Research in Practice in SCCA

2 - 4.30pm, Tuesday 10th March

Room 202, St Andrews Building, University of Glasgow

We are delighted to announce this forthcoming workshop, co-organised by the SCCA Research and EDI committees.

Through this event, we collectively consider ways of centring EDI principles in the development and delivery of research projects, and of articulating EDI in our research to partners, funders and peers.

As a school that thrives upon deep, research-based engagements with academic and non-academic partners, we believe we are well-placed to further strengthen this aspect of what we do well.

The event follows a workshop model, including personal reflection, group discussion, and activities designed to map ways forward for us individually and as a school. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a short guidance document, generating a picture of what is important to our community, and a list of small, active steps for further developing EDI in our research.

This event forms part of a wider school and university commitment to amplify and strengthen EDI in our research.

The St Andrews Building is a wheelchair accessible space. Further information regarding venue access is available here:
