Biography

Anna is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of Glasgow and is currently completing her MBChB. She is part of the Ischaemic Heart Disease Research Group at the University of Glasgow.

Before undertaking her MBPhD, Anna completed a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University and an intercalated MMedSci in Cardiovascular Science at the University of Glasgow.

She was awarded her PhD for research investigating cardiovascular involvement in post-COVID-19 syndromes. Her doctoral research was supervised by Professor Colin Berry and supported by a British Heart Foundation MBPhD Fellowship (2022-2025).

Her current research interests include ischaemic heart disease, coronary microvascular dysfunction, cardiovascular imaging, and translational cardiovascular medicine.
