Irradiation equipment
There are several pieces of irradiation equipment available in the Wolfson Wohl Cancer Research Centre (WWCRC) and in the Biological Service Unit enabling radiation-related research on both cells and whole animals.
Xstrahl RS225 irradiator cabinet
Free standing, self-contained X-Ray irradiator. The irradiation research cabinets enable safe irradiation of biological samples within a laboratory environment.
Small Animal Radiation Research Platform (SARRP)
SARRP enables investigators to perform clinically relevant research in a preclinical setting. Researchers can quickly adapt the system to perform large field irradiations, such as whole body, to small focal irradiation, such as brain metastases, duplicating techniques found in the clinic.
