Biography

Nick is a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and joined the University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School in 2019 following a career in industry. He holds a PhD from the University of Glasgow, an MBA and MSc in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde. His first degree was in Economics and he is currently completing an MEd in Academic Practice. Nick is Deputy Director of Development and is the Director of the MBA and Executive Education.

Prior to joining the University of Glasgow, Nick worked in a variety of roles, including as a director of a manufacturing business and as a management consultant in the areas of organisational development, culture and leadership. In this capacity, he has worked with hundreds of companies of all sizes and in all sectors throughout the UK and has also designed and delivered executive education programmes with a wide variety of organisations. Nick is also a director of Sustainable Thinking Scotland which grows fresh produce for foodbanks in the Bo’Ness area.
