Biography
Junzhe joined the Adam Smith Business School as Senior Lecturer in International Business in February 2020. Prior to this he worked at the University of Sheffield (UK) and Tongji University (China) respectively. He received his PhD in Management Studies and MSc in Management (Distinction), both from the University of Glasgow.
Junzhe is a HEA (Higher Education Academy) Fellow and Research Associate at the Scottish Centre for China Research. He acts as the General Secretary of the China-UK Business Research Association and holds a visiting professorship at the Guangdong University of Finance and Economics. In the period of 2017-2019, Junzhe had served as the International Business/International Management Track Co-Chair/Chair in the British Academy of Management Conference.
His publications appear in journals including Journal of Business Ethics, International Business Review, International Marketing Review, and Journal of Business Research along with others. His paper "Does Confucian Dynamism Complement the OLI Framework? A Study of Chinese Private Firms", co-authored with Prof. Pavlos Dimitratos, won EIBA (European International Business Academy) Award on Best Paper on Emerging Markets in the 36th European International Business Academy Annual Conference, 2010, Porto.
