Biography

Jiaxin Wu joined the Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow in August 2024 as a Lecturer in Finance. She holds a PhD in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, and a Master’s degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her research interests lie in Empirical Corporate Finance, with a particular focus on Sustainable Finance, Labor and Finance, Corporate Disclosures and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Research interests

Her research examines how corporate decisions and market institutions shape firm behaviour and stakeholder outcomes. The current work focuses on Sustainability, Corporate disclosure, and labour market consequences of corporate policies, using large-scale administrative and
textual datasets.

Supervision

Jiaxin is happy to supervise PhD students who are interested in sustainable finance, corporate finance and Fintech(AI).
