Biography
Dong-hyu Kim obtained his PhD in Strategy & Organisation from the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS), Yonsei University, South Korea. He was the recipient of the Global PhD Fellowship, the most prestigious scholarship awarded to PhD candidates in South Korea. Prior to his doctoral studies, he earned a Master’s degree in Global Economy & Strategy (with highest honours) from Yonsei GSIS, and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics & Computer Engineering from Hanyang University. He has held visiting scholar positions at Hitotsubashi University, KAIST, the London School of Economics (LSE), the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Technical University of Berlin. His research has been published in several leading journals, including Research Policy. He currently serves as an Associate Editor of Kybernetes (an SCIE- and ABS-listed journal), where he contributes to the advancement of systems-theoretical approaches in the study of technology and innovation.
