Biography

Carlos Carbajal, an Honorary Researcher at the University of Glasgow, blends his robust academic background with practical business and technology insights, driving impactful digital transformation projects. His work is a dynamic digital innovation strategist with an academic foundation in engineering and innovation management. With a robust background in engineering and a global perspective gained from diverse international experiences, Carlos has become a notable advocate for exploring the impact of emerging digital technologies across various contexts, industries, and sectors. In addition to his PhD in Digital Innovation Management from the University of Glasgow, his academic journey includes a BSc in Mechatronics Engineering from Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, a specialisation in Market Research and Business Consultancy from Universidad del Pedregal, and a joint MSc in Global Innovation Management from the University of Strathclyde and Technology University of Hamburg-Harburg.
