Adam Smith Business School has been awarded five years of AACSB reaccreditation.

The announcement follows a comprehensive assessment by AACSB which took place in November 2021.

Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation is known worldwide as the longest-standing, most recognised form of specialised accreditation that an institution and its business programmes can earn. Accreditation is a voluntary, nongovernmental process that includes a rigorous external review of a school's mission, faculty qualifications, curricula, and ability to provide the highest-quality programmes.

Professor John Finch, Head of the University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School said: “We are very proud to achieve AACSB reaccreditation for the Business School. This is a fantastic achievement and reflects on our high standards of business education and marks out the outstanding and impactful research, scholarship and teaching we deliver. Colleagues across the School have engaged with the AACSB standards with a huge amount of enthusiasm and professionalism. I want to thank all Business School colleagues, alumni, business partners, students and School community who helped to make this reaccreditation possible.’’
