Steve Mostyn joins Business School as new Honorary Professor

Steve Mostyn has been appointed to the Adam Smith Business School as an Honorary Professor.

Steve Mostyn has been appointed to the Adam Smith Business School as an Honorary Professor.

He has held leadership roles with Motorola and RBS and has twenty years of experience designing and directing executive education programmes. Steve is also an Associate Fellow at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where he has led and designed executive leadership programmes for clients including Scottish Water, Standard Chartered Bank and the Education Training Foundation. Steve’s expertise is in helping organisations build deep leadership capability aligned to their strategy.

Steve has been working with the school for a number of years and has organised and chaired the School’s increasingly influential leadership forum. He will continue to develop the forum, drawing together colleagues and leadership practitioners around a series of provocations drawn from practical challenges in leadership. He will also draw from his experience in business and higher education to advise the school as it develops professional and executive education.  

Welcoming the appointment, Professor John Finch, Head of the Adam Smith Business School said: “We are delighted that Steve Mostyn has accepted the role as Honorary Professor in the Adam Smith Business School. He brings with him a great deal of experience in executive education and organisational development and has worked with world-leading academic and business leaders throughout his career.
