Academics from Adam Smith Business School were invited to the University of Sydney Business School Research Colloquium.

The Adam Smith Business School is continuing to strengthen its partnership with University of Sydney Business School.

In our second cross-institutional event on 25th August, researchers from Adam Smith Business School were invited to the University of Sydney Business School’s Research Colloquium.

The cross-institutional event aims to facilitate establishing research collaborations, pipelines and potentially cross-supervision between the University of Sydney and the University of Glasgow. Academic supervisors from Adam Smith Business School delivered research pitches to University of Sydney Business School Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students (equivalent of Postgraduate Research students at Adam Smith Business School).

Following welcomes from Dr Buhui Qiu (Director of HDR, Sydney Business School) and Dr Adina Iulia Dudau (Director of PGR, ASBS), presentations were heard from:

  • Kurt Y. Liu
  • Anna Morgan-Thomas
  • Adina Dudau
  • Belgin Okay-Somerville
  • Alvise Favotto
  • Dominic Chalmers
  • Georgios Kominis
  • Betty (H.T.) Wu
  • Noemi Sinkovics
  • Rudolf R. Sinkovics

Sydney HDR students then had the opportunity to ask questions to Adam Smith Business School potential supervisors and to discuss research topics further.

We look forward to further collaborating on research, innovation and global leadership as we strengthen the links between our institutions.
