Dr Emily Hotchkiss

  • Lecturer (Farm Animal Clinical Sciences )

Biography

Having graduated from GUVS in 2000 Emily spent 2 years in mixed (Oban) and farm animal practice (Lanark) before returning to Glasgow as a Farm Animal Clinical Scholar. She carried out her PhD at Liverpool Vet School studying the molecular epidemiology of cryptosporidiosis before spending 9 years at the Moredun Research Institute. Her research focus is on the epidemiology of endemic diseases of livestock and latterly, drivers for farmer behaviour and social science approaches.
