NM-AIST
The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) in Arusha, Tanzania is an emerging center of excellence geared to develop new and relevant innovations and implement programs necessary for improving the lives of millions of people in sub Saharan Africa (SSA). Among the NM-AIST’s priority research areas is improvement of the health and productivity of livestock. NM-AIST was established to be a regional university for Eastern Africa with a mandate to produce world class academicians and researchers as well as conduct responsive research that will transform the lives of people and the and economy of the region. NM-AIST is one our key partners in Tanzania, and the campus is a base for many of our research activities.
