In her PhD research, Rose is exploring the impact of mutation on the development of a specific life cycle stage of the malaria parasite.

Rose possesses a deep passion for medical parasitology and holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Parasitology from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Driven by her ambition for advanced training and career development in a globally renowned institute, she decided  to relocate from Kenya to the UK.

In her PhD research, Rose is exploring the impact of mutation on the development of a specific life cycle stage of the malaria parasite. Her ultimate goal is to contribute to the identification of a potential transmission control strategy.
