Adebolaji has an MEd degree from the University of Glasgow and is a qualified community learning and development (CLD) practitioner with several years of experience supporting the most vulnerable in the community. She is the founder of Shine Your Light Community, a charitable organisation in Glasgow that rebuilds lives and promotes the well-being of lone parents and their children.

Adebolaji has an MSc (International HRM) degree and is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). She is a talented business and human resources professional with over 14 years of multinational and multi-sector experience in highly regulated, target-driven public, private, and voluntary organisations.

Adebolaji’s PhD explores Higher Education challenges on access and retention of refugees and asylum-seeking people in Scotland.
