Oluwajuwon ('Juwon') is a recent Masters graduate in Medicinal & Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Loughborough University. She will be undertaking research in the School of Chemistry to develop new methods for application to the preparation of PET and SPECT imaging agents. This new approach seeks to employ iron, an earth-abundant metal, as part of the catalyst used for these reactions.

Juwon hopes this JMS scholarship opportunity will help her to make an impact both within the field of Chemistry at Glasgow and that of younger people who may be looking to pursue similar pathways in science.
