Biography
Martin completed his PhD at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, in the lab of Dr Richard Kingston. He then moved to the University of Galway, Ireland, where he did a postdoc with Prof Peter Crowley. He is currently doing a postdoc with Prof Helen Walden at the University of Glasgow in the School of Molecular Biosciences.
Research interests
Martin uses cryo-electron microscopy, biophysics, and biochemistry to understand the molecular function of proteins. He is particularly interested in proteins involved in DNA repair.
