Project Summary - The successful candidate will investigate the potential of theories of embodied cognition from cognitive psychology for the analysis and criticism and/or composition and performance of experimental music theatre and related genres. He or she may be employing a combination of experimental, quantitative or qualitative and practice-based methods, depending on qualification, specialisation and interest.
Project Team - The supervision team consists of Prof Björn Heile (Music), Prof Frank Pollick (Psychology) and Dr Michael Bachmann (Theatre Studies). The successful candidate will be based primarily in Music, but they will have access to laboratories and facilities in Psychology and Theatre Studies.
