Lord Kelvin / Adam Smith (LKAS) Fellowships
In 2012, the University of Glasgow established a Fellowship fund to attract promising emerging leaders to the University. Two Fellowship schemes were established: a Fully Funded Fellowship scheme, and a Leadership scheme that provides supplementary funding to those applying for externally funded Fellowships or to those who wish to bring their existing externally-funded fellowship to Glasgow.
From 1st April 2026, the LKAS Leadership Fellowship is being temporarily paused for four months until 31st July 2026 and will not be accepting new applications. More details will follow shortly.

LKAS Leadership Fellowships
Leadership Fellowships offer support for those applying for externally funded fellowships. They also support external applicants already holding externally funded fellowships who would like to join the University of Glasgow. [Not currently accepting new applications]
