Annual honour recognises achievements of alumni who have made a major contribution to the community, arts, science or business

The World Changing Alumni Award is an annual University of Glasgow honour which aims to recognise and celebrate the achievements of alumni who have graduated within the last 15 years and made a major contribution to the community, arts, science or business.

This prestigious award was formerly called the Young Alumnus of the Year Award, and has been presented to a world-changing alumnus every year since 2001.

We are absolutely delighted to annouce that UNESCO RILA Ambassador Oudai Tozan has been nominated for the 2018 Award alongside Amal Azzudin, a long-time collaborator of the UNESCO RILA Chair, Prof Alison Phipps.

If you are a UofG alumnus you can vote online for your 2018 World Changing Alumni Award winner! You will need your seven digit student number and you can vote only once.

Congratulations Oudai and Amal!!
