SECURE Launch event held on the 11th September

On the 11th September 2015 SECURE held its Launch Event. This was chaired by Professor Marian Scott, the Principal Investigator for the network. They day comprised of talks from Professor Jonathan Tawn and Dr Jon Blower in the morning. Delegates had a choice of workshops in both the morning and afternoon. The keynote lecture was given by Professor Ian Boyd, CSA of DFRA. Professor Susan Waldron delivered sessions on Feasibility projects. Around fifty delegates attended.
The launch event was our first event of the SECURE network. Delegates attended from all over the UK and from as far afield as Nigeria, and enjoyed a series of talks and workshops.
In the morning there were talks from Professor Jonathan Tawn and Dr Jon Blower and in the afternoon Professor Ian Boyd gave the keynote lecture.
The delegates also attended sessions on Feasibility projects.
