SSAMIS will have a table in the information area at this annual family fun day in Fraserburgh.

Alongside performance, drummers, dance, international cuisine, we will ask what it is like to live in Scotland for people from Central and Eastern Europe, Russia or the Former Soviet Union? What is it that makes people choose to come here and what helps them to decide to stay?

Join us to create a ‘living map’ and add to our interactive phrasebook with languages that you know. You will also be able to see some of the objects, art work and photographs we have been curating and creating with migrants living and working in Angus and Aberdeenshire.
