Online Focus Groups and Interviews
Photo elicitation online focus groups and follow up online interviews
We will ask you to send us 2 photographs which illustrate an aspect of school values that is important to you. After we have received your photos, we will ask you to take part in a group interview with up to three other young people to discuss your choice of photo. It should take around thirty-minutes to complete the interview which will be recorded for the purposes of later analysis. Only audio will be recorded, and your name and other identifying information revealed during the interview, will be removed from publications to protect both your identity and that of your school.
Note – We ask that participants refrain from photographing or identifying other people or including any possibly offensive material. All entries will be carefully examined prior to inclusion in the focus groups.
We may ask you to take part in a follow up interview to find out a little more about some of their responses. It will take between twenty and thirty minutes to complete this interview and is completely voluntary.
