Dstl & CINIF / RAEng Research Chair
Prof Dimitrios Pezaros holds a Research Chair in Digital Resilience for Critical National Infrastructure, funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) and the Control and Instrumentation Nuclear Industry Forum (CINIF)
This is the group’s flagship research programme supporting significant activity in improving the cybersecurity and resilience posture of industrial systems that underpin diverse critical infrastructure sectors.
The research spans a number of areas, from technology development to modernise converged IT/OT environments and improve their visibility and monitoring capabilities; to development of AI and Machine Learning models for proactive Cyberdefence; to exploring human, organisational, and regulatory factors for improving cyber incident response of CNI organisations.
