We were absolutely delighted to welcome retired cardiothoracic surgeon Andrew Thorpe to the BHF CoRE Glasgow and to SCMH this morning as he passed through Glasgow on his epic trek “Thorpe’s Walk”. Andrew is mid trek from John O'Groats to Lands-End, taking in 20 of the UK's highest peaks en route. We wish Andrew the very best of luck in getting all the way to Lands-End and thank him very much for raising money for such a worthy cause as the BHF. Andrew's journey can be followed on Twitter and via his JustGiving donations page. Congratulations on raising over £3000 already!
