Woman Hollering Creek (1991) by Sandra Cisneros is a short story collection presenting multiple, diverse snippets of contemporary Chicana life. With its array of different female protagonists, this text offers an exploration into the interwoven issues of gender, race, class, and immigration as experienced by Mexican American women.
