An hour a week, a lifetime of impact- Become a mentor with MCR Pathways

MCR Pathways is an award winning school based mentoring charity. Our aim is to help young people unlock their potential, no matter their circumstances.

We know that each young person has enormous talent, however care-experienced and other pupils facing disadvantage often struggle to engage with school because of instability in their personal lives. This can also be the case for other young people we aim to support including young carers, asylum seekers or those who have suffered significant family bereavement.

A mentor helps a young person to explore what they enjoy, find out what they are or could be good at and think about what they want to do when they leave school. They link it back to what the young person needs to do in school and with their education to achieve their goal. Building a strong trusting relationship is the key to opening the door to explore options and opportunities

Join MCR Pathways to learn how mentoring is transforming young people's lives and how you can get involved, by becoming a volunteer mentor.
