Course Aims

The research project requires students to engage in detail with one area of medical physics and to carry out original research into that area. They will then present an extended, written argument, referring extensively to the literature. It requires them to draw on their knowledge of key concepts and theories learned in other parts of the programme, together with their knowledge of research methods and analytical techniques, in order to present a coherent, masters-level dissertation. The student will then communicate knowledge or arguments from the research project both orally and in writing.
