What our students say

"I think the MSc in Clinical Nutrition is the best nutrition post graduate degree in UK for a clinician.

"Throughout the course we shared our unique cultural and professional experience from our own countries. We studied together and critically discussed many nutritional matters. It was such a wonderful experience.

"My research skills and critical thinking substantially increased during the programme mainly due to weekly journal club, evidence based course work, academic seminars and close personal communication with staff. Subsequently, it helped me to actively engage in clinical research in Sri Lanka and publish articles in peer-reviewed high impact journals. Both clinicians and non-clinical supervisors helped me to identify nutritional issues in patients and discuss them critically. The time I spent in the Obesity Clinic inspired me to change my whole career, my ambition is to start a weight management centre in Sri Lanka in the future."

"I had a great opportunity during my postgraduate study in Glasgow University especially the Clinical Case Studies where I got the chance to see patients with nutrition-related diseases. The most useful part was identifying nutrition research questions related to the clinical practice and investigating those questions based on the most recent scientific evidences."

"I enjoyed my study at University of Glasgow. The Clinical Nutrition programme was very focused, informative, case study oriented and evidence based. The lecturers equipped me with all information and resources on how to conduct research and review literature to find out the relation between the nutrition, nutrition status and disease, both as a cause and an effect on the prognosis on many diseases."
