Research title: Easily Replicable, Affordable, Open-Source Prosthetic Hands for Community Use

Research summary

Starting in 2025, I am working as a PhD Candidate in Biomedical Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Lucas Ferrari Gerez at the ARARA Lab in the James Watt School of Engineering.

I formerly worked at the Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre as a R&D engineer/researcher where I conducted fundamental research towards the utilization and implementation of extended reality, haptics, and unmanned collaborative aerial vehicles within the aviation industry.

I have a MSc in Mechanical Engineering (robotics), and a BSc in Industrial Design Engineering (haptics) both from the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).
