Research title: Understanding the implementation of public health policy programmes in primary schools: developing a programme theory through an applied systems approach

Research summary

My research uses predominantly qualitative appraches such as soft systems methodologies to investigate and further understand the barriers and enablers that will enable us to 'shift the dial' in increasing physical activty amongst school aged children and adolesencts.

Current Research

I am currently investigating the physical activty 'system' in Scotland's primary schools.
