Research title: Facilitators and Barriers to the Implementation of Policies for Schistosomiasis Interventions
Research summary
I have a background in Veterinary Medicine from Nigeria and hold an MSc in One Health from the Royal Veterinary College/London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
My interest in schistosomiasis research grew during my master's thesis, where I conducted the first One Health economic analysis of livestock schistosomiasis in Africa, focusing on Senegal.
For my PhD at the Lamberton Lab, I am researching how health policies influence the uptake of WASH interventions for schistosomiasis, as well as the drivers and barriers to their adoption.

I have worked on antimicrobial resistance, vaccine delivery, neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), and One Health projects, supporting governments, communities, and development partners in strengthening health systems in low-resource settings.
