Research title: International Taxation, Corporate Investment and Auditing
Research summary
Beijia is a PhD student at the Adam Smith Business School, where she works on topics related to international taxation. She obtained a Bachelor degree in Economics (Taxation) from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics in China and a Master degree in Accounting from the University of Glasgow. She is a regular member of the Adam Smith Business School Taxation Study Group. She also serves as an ad hoc reviewer for journals such as the Journal of International Accounting, Auditing and Taxation and the Journal of Applied Accounting Research.

Her current research comprises three working papers. The first paper examines how the alignment between tax and financial reporting systems shapes corporate information environments across countries. The other two papers investigate the consequences of changes in tax transparency, focusing on the investment responses of multinational enterprises and the reactions of the audit market.
