Research title: Ecological impact of microplastics in the Sundarban
Research Summary
My project will look at mapping the current distribution of comercially important juvenile species. Within this, the aim is to determine the biotic and abiotic drivers of juvenile fish abundance and growth rates in the Sundarbans Mangrove Forest, in order to support management and protect biodiversity.
The project will successfully develop a model that incorporates how acretion and erosion shifts this distribution depending on its intensity.
