University of Glasgow Singapore celebrated its largest ever graduation ceremony on 19 October 2018.
University of Glasgow Singapore (UGS) celebrated its largest ever graduation ceremony on 19 October 2018, with 368 graduates receiving degrees in a range of University of Glasgow programmes delivered in partnership with the Singapore Institute of Technology.
This ceremony saw the first cohort of graduates awarded the new Bachelor of Science with Honours in Nursing, a joint degree delivered in partnership by the School of Nursing & Health Care and the Singapore Institute of Technology. This programme launched in 2016 and joins an established suite of University of Glasgow programmes at UGS in Engineering and Computing Science.

Highest return on investment
In October 2018, Yahoo Finance Singapore ranked three UGS programmes at the top of their list of Singapore-based programmes with the highest Return on Investment (ROI) for graduates. More than 70 programmes were analysed to identify those with the highest expected salary compared to tuition costs.
The new Bachelor of Science in Nursing took the top spot, followed by the Bachelor of Science in Computing Science and the Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics.
