Professor Dominiczak said: "It was a great pleasure to welcome the Cabinet Secretary and to outline in some detail the progress that is being made in Precision Medicine. Scotland is uniquely well placed to deliver major savings to the NHS and to provide more appropriate, timely and successful treatment to patients across a range of conditions and illnesses. We look forward to working very closely with the Scottish Government, the NHS, colleagues in other universities and with industry to deliver on the tremendous potential that Precision Medicine offers."
