Deputy First Minister to deliver lecture on Scotland’s Constitution

Nicola Sturgeon MSP will deliver a public lecture on “Scotland’s Constitution – A Means to an End” at 5.30pm on Monday 5 March 2012 in the Sir Charles Wilson Lecture Theatre.

The School of Law at the University of Glasgow is delighted to announce that the Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon MSP will deliver a public lecture on “Scotland’s Constitution – A Means to an End” at 5.30pm on Monday 5 March 2012 in the Sir Charles Wilson Lecture Theatre. The Deputy First Minister is a graduate of the School of Law.

Ms Sturgeon’s talk follows on from a similar event held at the University of Glasgow in January when the Advocate General, Lord Wallace of Tankerness QC, spoke on “Scotland’s Constitutional Future”. 

The Head of the School of Law at the University of Glasgow, Professor Rosa Greaves, said, “We are delighted that the School of Law is able to offer a forum for Ministers from both Governments to discuss legal aspects of Scotland’s constitution. We look forward with great interest to hearing the views of the Deputy First Minister, both in her lecture and in the question and answer session that will follow the talk.”
