Dancing dogs and duck herding are just a few of the attractions at the University of Glasgow's 54th annual rodeo

The University of Glasgow's Vet School students have been busy planning this year's Rodeo and promise a fun, activity-packed day for all the family. The day will include everything from quad bike racing to funfair rides.

Last year the Rodeo - which aims not only to entertain, but to also raise awareness of animal welfare issues and money for animal charities - attracted almost 4000 visitors. The event is the biggest charity fundraiser associated with the University.

The Vet School Rodeo will be held this Saturday, 1 May 2004, from 11am to 5pm at the University's Garscube Estate in Bearsden. Entrance fee: £4 adults, £2 concession and £8 families.
