Student Feedback Panel
Student feedback panels give our team the chance to hear directly from students about what’s working well and where improvements could be made across our digital platforms and services. They offer a practical way to understand real student experiences, test ideas, and spot issues early. By involving students in these conversations, we can make more informed, user‑centred decisions and ensure that developments genuinely improve the student experience and meet their needs.
How does it work?
Student feedback panels run monthly and usually last up to two hours, allowing plenty of time for open discussion and detailed feedback. To recognise the time and contribution involved, students receive a £10 voucher/hour for each session they attend.
Students sign up once to join a panel mailing list and are then contacted when new panel opportunities are available.
These panels are a way to:
- gather feedback on existing digital platforms or services
- test early ideas, concepts or proposed changes
- better understand student needs, behaviours and pain points
- sense check assumptions before decisions are finalised
These panels are not:
- a complaints of escalation route
- a decision-making body
- a representation of the entire student body
