Late Night Breakfasts
Keep an eye out for our Late-Night Breakfast in December!
We’re bringing a little slice of American campus tradition to UofG by serving an evening breakfast in the library the week before exams to help keep you fed and watered.
During the 24/25 spring exam period, Team UofG Together teamed up with GU Heritage’s Mental Health Awareness campaign to offer free breakfast rolls and a relaxed space in the Library Café. It was a huge success, giving you a chance to take a breather and recharge before the big exam season!
Some other fun stuff Team UofG together has been up to…
Postgrad Summer: Over the summer we were outdoors enjoying the Glasgow sun with our postgrads while taking a break from their dissertation and thesis writing. Going on walks around Glasgow, playing games in the cloisters and watching film screenings.
Internships: Through the Team UofG Together Fund, we’ve supported around 6,000 hours of paid student internships, all focusing on building community and helping you to feel heard and involved, supporting your belonging and mattering. From buddy schemes for international students to neurodiversity support groups, social programmes in schools, and much more! One of our interns has even been shortlisted as a finalist for the UKCISA Student Leader of the Year Award.
Community Connections: We’re working behind the scenes with our student support staff to improve the information we share with you about social and community activities, making sure every student knows what social activities are available at UofG.
Student Experience Practitioners Network: There’s a whole team of staff across the University who care about your experience outside the classroom. The new staff network, supported by Team UofG Together, encourages staff to share ideas, collaborate, and work together to make student life more inclusive, welcoming, and vibrant.
Whether you want to get involved for the food, the fun, or the friendships - Team UofG Together has something for everyone to feel included and welcome!
