UofG Technicians

The Technician Commitment Steering Group is pleased to announce that the University of Glasgow will be holding an in-person Technical Conference on Wednesday 8th June 2022, from 9.30am – 3.30pm in the Hunter Halls. This is a free event open to all Technical staff across the University.

The programme will consist of excellent keynote speakers, interactive workshops and updates on the progress and plans to support technical staff within the University.

We will also be running a James Watt Best Poster Competition, where you can share your unique technical work experience and be in with the chance to win high street vouchers (competition and judging will take place at the Conference).

Details about the Poster competition will be sent out shortly and registration will open in early May. Keep an eye on your inbox as tickets will be on a first come first served basis.

Lunch will also be provided on the day. If you do not typically work on a Wednesday, you can still attend the event and you may wish to discuss alternative working arrangements with your line manager.
