The University of Glasgow has become partner affiliate of the National Technician Development Centre. Find more here!

The Technician Commitment Steering Group is pleased to inform the University’s technical community that the University of Glasgow is now a partner affiliate of the National Technician Development Centre (NTDC). The NTDC provides numerous tools and services to organisations to support the delivery of high quality and sustainable technical services across all sectors.

Being a partner affiliate of the NTDC provides new opportunities and services to the technical community, some of which includes: access to CPD Central which is a bespoke CPD software for technicians; access to funding opportunities such as the NTDC Technician Development Fund; and numerous networking opportunities. We will soon invite the technical community to attend an open session with representatives from the NTDC to learn more about the full range of services and opportunities available so you may benefit from these. In the meantime, please follow the links below to sign up to the NTDC newsletter and to view their latest mailer online:

In addition, the Steering Group is pleased to inform you that the University of Glasgow will take part in the NTDC’s Technician Skills Survey. The Survey captures information on every aspect of a technical workforce, from their specialist technical skills to their future career plans and development needs. We are in no doubt, the survey will have numerous benefits for the University as well as the technical staff. You will hear more about the Survey in due course.
