Cover examples

The front covers of University publications should

  • display the University marque in its blue box top left (7mm from the top)
  • display the brand message WORLD CHANGING GLASGOW in its cobalt box bottom left (7mm from the bottom).

One single image that bleeds off all four sides of the page should be used. Multiple images on front cover are not permitted.

The title of the publication can either sit over the image if there is enough negative space, or within a transparent box (that allows the image to be seen under the box).

‌On rare occasions when an image is not suitable, you can use one solid colour from the University colour palette

Back cover examples

Back covers should not repeat the marque and brand message from the front of a publication. Instead, the back cover of a publication can have either an image or additional text that helps to deliver the message in the publication.

  • the team or department responsible for producing the publication
  • date of publication (month and year)
