The following services and groups can be contacted for emotional support or informal advice.

Staff Counselling

Our employee assistance programme, provides free and confidential support to all University of Glasgow colleagues. Support and advice is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Mental Health First Aiders

Mental Health First Aiders help raise awareness of mental health issues and create a point of contact for initial assistance and guidance to professional help, for those staff and students seeking help for poor mental health. 

Chaplaincy

The Chaplaincy provides spiritual support and facilities for staff and students of all faiths and none.

Occupational Health Unit

The Occupational Health Unit can be accessed via referral from line managers. 

Carers and Parents Forum

This group is for staff with parenting and caring responsibilities to share ideas, get advice and make connections on here and that you can follow up offline.

Carers and Parents of Children or Adults with Disabilities

This group has been set up to support University staff or students who care for people of all ages with disabilities of all kinds.
