Prof Sir Anton Muscatelli's weekly video update to the University community
The Principal, Professor Sir Anton Muscatelli, is currently recording a weekly video which is posted on our social media channels every Friday.
In this broadcast he speaks about student exams which begin today (Monday 27 April) and of the establishment of the COVID-19 testing centre - called the Glasgow Lighthouse Lab - in the University’s Clinical Innovation Zone at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital campus.
The University of Glasgow is leading this vitally important facility. Hundreds of scientists and technicians have volunteered to work at the lab, and staff from MVLS have been partnering with many others across the University – including IT, Estates, security, Comms, Legal and Procurement and many others – working around the clock to bring it from an idea to a working facility in just three weeks.
