Our new online conversation series aims to bring debates with impact

External Relations has introduced a new online speaker series aimed at bringing together our community of researchers, partners, and alumni to drive change and deliver impact through meaningful debate.

Launching at 1700 on Wednesday 28 October, our inaugural event will be delivered in partnership between our Principal, Professor Sir Anton Muscatelli, and alumnus Kevin Sneader, Global Managing Partner of McKinsey & Co.

Together, they will discuss the impact of the pandemic on economies and how governments and business might reset for growth and find their way to 'the next normal'. Audience participation will be encouraged during the event and a select group of alumni have been been given the opportunity to submit questions in advance.

The event will be chaired by Rachel Sandison, Vice-Principal, External Relations, who said: “Creating opportunities to engage with our community of partners and friends has never been more important. We already know that our research has so much to offer in response to the global pandemic. Providing a platform for discussion and debate and showcasing the ways in which the University is connecting with our stakeholder audiences is equally important in demonstrating our relevancy as a world-changing university.”
