The Universities of Glasgow and Sydney signed a strategic partnership agreement last week.

Professor James C Conroy, Vice Principal Internationalisation, said: "On the 28th October, the University was delighted to welcome Professor Kathy Belov, PVC, Global Engagement at the University of Sydney.

"Kathy was visiting the University to further discussions on our evolving strategic partnership and sign an MoU committing both universities to work increasingly closely in developing a range of joint teaching and research opportunities.

"Early developments will include a significant growth in student mobility, support for early career exchanges and joint symposia".

At the signing Professor Conroy said he was delighted that the partnership between the two world leading universities would bring significant benefits to faculty and students and the range of partners with which we work.
