The HelloUofG app was created by Dr Ying (Olivia) Feng. Olivia studied as an undergraduate and postgraduate at the University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School and graduated with a PhD in 2014.
Shortly before her graduation, she was awarded an Enterprise Fellowship from the Royal Society of Edinburgh. During her fellowship, she started ICAN Future Star ltd, a mobile technology company based in Edinburgh.
Olivia had a vision is to use technology to make applying to study abroad easier and more efficient; the HelloUni app was born.
The app is being piloted at the University of Glasgow.
