Leadership Behavioural Framework

Published: 11 April 2016

The Leadership Behavioural Framework describes the leadership behaviours for all university leaders, managers and staff with leadership responsibilities within their roles.

Effective leadership at Glasgow is essential to achieving our vision of a world-class, world-changing university, as set out in our strategy, ‘Inspiring People, Changing the World.’

The Leadership Behavioural Framework, which was developed after broad consultation with the University community, describes the leadership behaviours for all university leaders, managers and staff with leadership responsibilities within their roles in supporting and realising our strategic ambitions.

The Leadership Behavioural Framework also aims to encourage leaders to motivate and inspire others whilst encouraging individual personal and career development and nurturing talent.

You can read more about the framework, and how we expect it to be applied, by visiting the Employee and Organisational Development
